Cookie and Tracking Policy

This page explains how analytics and affiliate attribution may use cookies or similar technologies.

Site analytics

When Google Analytics is enabled, we use it to measure aggregate usage such as page views, traffic sources, device categories, and outbound-link events. Google advertising storage, advertising user-data sharing, and ad personalization are disabled. Analytics cookie storage is denied by default in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

Affiliate attribution

After you choose to click a product link, the affiliate network or seller may set cookies or use other attribution methods to record that the referral came from Oral Care Compass. Those technologies are controlled by the third party and operate under its own privacy and cookie terms.

Local browser storage

Our page-helpfulness control may store a small local value in your browser so the same page version is not accidentally rated repeatedly from the same browser. This value is used for feedback-state control rather than advertising personalization.

Managing cookies and local storage

You can block or clear cookies and local site data using your browser settings. Blocking third-party attribution may affect whether a referral is credited, and clearing local site data may allow a page-helpfulness control to appear as new again, but neither prevents you from reading Oral Care Compass.

Future tools

If we add tools that require additional consent or materially change how data is processed, we will update this policy and add an appropriate preference mechanism before enabling them.
